SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1.  All artworks are for sale, at a price not less than $300 and not more than $8,000. Proceeds from the sale will be split 50-50 between the artist and the Artists Council.

2.  Qualifying Artwork: Submissions may be in any medium such as glass, metal, ceramics, wood, clay, plaster, mixed media.

Size and Weight Limitations:

Sculpture

minimum size 6"H X 6"W X 3”D

maximum size 72”H X 36”W X 36”D

weight cannot exceed 75 lbs.

Wall-Hung Work

All 2D wall artworks must have obvious protrusion(s) from the canvas/board/substrate

minimum size 12”H X 12”W

maximum size 72”H X 48”W

weight cannot exceed 50 lbs.

Please note that for this show, we are asking for you to upload TWO images of your work.  The first is the traditional, front-on image.  The second image must be a side view, or some other view that shows the dimensionality of your artwork.  This is particularly important for wall-hung art, where we want to see how the art protrudes froward from the substrate.

Artwork Categories:

•Sculpture

•Assemblage

•Dimensional Construction

•Dimensional Work using Collage or Appliqué Materials

•Functional Art (furniture, bowls, vases, etc.)

Some artist creations may not fit neatly into any of the above categories and that is okay. Be creative – explore something new!

NOTES:

2a. Submission could be under glass in a shadow box

2b. Impasto painting does not qualify

2c. Artworks cannot be hung from the ceiling

2d. Artworks cannot require electrical connection

2e. Artists are responsible for transporting their work into the building and for determining that it will fit through the gallery door.

2g. When submitting, you will have the option of uploading two images of a single artwork.
