UCR/AC Prospectus

UCR/Artists Council Exhibition

This unique collaboration between the University of California, Riverside-Palm Desert Center, and the Artists Council results annually in one of the largest exhibitions of local, living artists in the Coachella Valley. Featuring only Artists Council Members in a large-scale art exhibition, Artistic Expressions is designed to engage, educate, and enlighten the community of the Coachella Valley—and to provide an opportunity for Artists Council members to exhibit and sell their work in an outstanding venue.
Artistic Expressions showcases a variety of artistic styles and media to the general public. Artists Council members are encouraged to participate by submitting two different pieces of work, one of which will be selected to be displayed at the UCR Palm Desert Center from April 25 through May 17, 2019. Works will be curated by UCR staff for acceptance into the show.
Join us and bring your friends and collectors for the opening reception on Friday, May 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the UCR Palm Desert Center, 75080 Frank Sinatra Drive, Palm Desert. Again this year, there will be educational lectures, art demonstrations, and other activities presented in coordination with UCR academic staff and our own Artists Council representatives during the weeks that the show is on exhibit.
